The day we went to Northampton! - see write-up below!

In the Spring of 2011, the team were invited to represent Bury FC in a 5-a-side competition down at Northampton  before the Division Two match between Northampton Town and the Shakers and this turned out to be a great day out not just for the players but also their families.

The team came across some strong 5-a-side competition but following the morning tournament they were rewarded by attending the 'match of the day' as Bury were on their way to promotion! You will recognise many faces in the picture above - not the least our manager Craig who turned up in his full Bury kit in the hope that he'd get a game if Bury were short of players! Fortunately for Bury, they didn't need him and they went on to record a superb 4-2 away victory!
