We hold several events over the year and more often than not its a social event with fundraising incorporated! - and here are details of the latest one!

Presentation Day, 4pm, SUN 9th June 2013
The lads and their families can look forward to a great afternoon at 'Play Football' on Market Street as, like last year, we are able to fit a trophy presentation session in between their time on the five-a-side pitches with some of our fitter supporters!

Family Quiz and Easter Raffle - Sat 16th March 2013
With no morning match that day, Lu ( Lu/isa not Lou'ise!!!) organised our annual Easter event in the afternoon which took place from Noon to 4pm in the main concert room at Elton Liberal Club. A chance for families and their friends to share their lunch and their company!! A great success again, despite some enforced absences from some of the usual stalwart families, and everyone present had a nice relaxing afternoon despite a tougher than expected 'Soccer Trivia' quiz, a 'Mastermind' quality quiz and Chairman Jim, as normal, hogging the microphone! Having said that, three of the eight teams gained nearly half the points at stake but one team stood out above the rest with Gary and Sean amassing 51 points out of 75! Well done to the two of them!
Tickets, which also covered entry for the Family Quiz, were a very reasonable £4 each for adults and £1 for children and that included a lunchtime 'snack' of pasty and peas + sausage rolls for youngsters who didn’t like pasties!!
The raffle was blessed with about about 25 prizes ranging from a £20 M&S voucher down to a vast range of Easter Eggs and it was pleasing to see that the prize-winners were equally split between those present and those who were unable to make it!
A brilliant effort by Lu and those efforts resulted in the club having about £220 put into the coffers!! Thanks again to everyone and we'll see you all at the end-of-season Presentation event!

The lads and their families had a great afternoon at Play Football on Market Street as they were able to fit a trophy presentation session in between their time on the five-a-side pitches with some of our fitter supporters!
For those less energettic they not only had a chat, a drink, a buffet and took part in the customary raffle but they were also able to watch the Federer v Murray Wimbledon Final on the big screen! A great afternoon was had by all and we have at last found an event 'formula' that seems to suit everybody!
A big thanks to the two Lou's for organising such a good event for us!

Family QUIZ NIGHT and EASTER RAFFLE - Friday 23rd March 2012
We were able to fill Sinatras Room at Elton Liberal Club for a very enjoyable and 'eventful' evening of family entertainment.
The club are pleased to announce that the event raised £200 for us and a MASSIVE thanks to Luisa who, despite Louise trying to get in on the act, sorted out a great night for everyone present despite some traumatic times when she was on 'suicide watch' when she feared that there might be more pies than people! Despite her worries, it all came together on the night and everyone is looking forward to the next 'Do' that she organises!
